Prehistoric Planet storyboard, Quetzalcoatlus nesting / conflict (colour panels by Jama Jurabaev)

This storyboard was part of a series conceived during my tenure at Jellyfish Pictures - with colour keyframes done by Jama Jurabaev (https://www.artstation.com/jama). The episode features the flight of an adult female Quetzalcoatlus returning to a spawning ground deep in the swamplands of ancient South Africa and gets into conflict with another female that has attacked her brood while she was absent.

(unfortunately, because of Covid, the filmmakers were restricted from filming sufficient material in the swamps of USA, which was the original intention)
