Prehistoric Planet full storyboard T-Rex sequence (BBC/Apple+ TV /narrated by David Attenborough)

One of the storyboards I did for Prehistoric Planet during my tenure at Jellyfish Pictures in London, in tandem with BBC Natural History Unit who delivered each synopsis and script, and final CGi done by MPC London (CG mega-champions for The Lion King and Jungle Book feature films), who did an amazing job turning these panels into something as close to realism as possible. It was an honour to see the finished result, with David Attenborough narrating.
According to Mike Gunton, the series producer, David Attenborough “was recording the commentary during the T-rex episode, but took his headphones and glasses off and leant forward".
“He said, ‘You know, Mike, watching these two T-rex courting was like watching them with a pair of binoculars. I felt I was there. It was utterly, utterly extraordinary – every element of that behaviour was perfect.' "
