Prehistoric Planet Velociraptor / Pterosaur cliff ambush sequence

some of the Prehistoric Planet storyboards for freshwater episode (03) - This part of the episode featured Velociraptors hunting Pterosaurs on canyon cliffs, working with a script by BBC Natural History Unit, and with close direction in terms of animal behaviour and details from paleontologist Darren Naish, Mark Witton and Jellyfish art supervisor Tom Brass. Colour keypanels were contributed ny Tania Kerins. Extra sketches supplied to show that considerable work went into figuring out the best way to imitate real natural history photography, in particular the shots seen on shows such as Planet Earth.
More boards on the way.
